The Starland Steering Committee
Starland's vision, decision-making, and oversight rests with our Steering Committee members, who have generously provided time, talent, and money, to help keep Starland healthy and focused.

There are three co-owners of Starland, who have generously supported the formation of Starland and it's Steering Committee. All of them are part of the Steering Committee: John, Steve, and Gary.


 
1) John is the enthusiastic visionary who helps keep us on our toes. Thanks to him, we have the Main Hall, and the guest cabins. John is well-known for co-founding CMEN and the West Coast Gathering, and is developing a new resort in Pennsylvania called "Mountain Top Resort."  
2) Steve is the one who provides conversation, lively music, and a touch of drama to Starland. A maven of karaoke and a director of theatre, as well as a computer "nut," he is a seeker of truth, and aspires to be Starland's Hierophant.  
3) Gary is a co-founder of Starland... very little is known about him... he's mysterious.  

Our Other Steering Committee Members and/or Residents:
4) Les, a longtime friend of the owners, and supporter of Starland, is also our beloved accountant.  
5) Mohabee is Starland's "Resident Manager" and queen bee. He has been with Starland since it's inception almost ten years ago. He has been instrumental in getting Starland to "fly" as grounds care-taker, secretary, PR person, host, and greeter to all who visit Starland. Without Mohabee, there would be no Starland. Mohabee is an artist and traveler to distant campgrounds.  
6) Matrix (of the Moon) Loves Starland has also been a Starland enthusiast for a long time (9 years?). Matrix really does love Starland. He has been one of many catalyst for Starland's success since the beginning, working closely along side Mohabee to "put Starland on the map" via publicity via friends, word of mouth, and this website. Matrix has helped with many of the construction projects, as others have done. He is also the Treasurer.  
7) Hollis is one of Starland's greatest contributors, visiting Starland frequently and helping out in almost every way possible, from construction, to washing dirty laundry. He often serves as secretary at our committee meetings.  
8) Kaweah also loves Starland, a friendly fellow who helps be a voice of reason and helps with the many construction projects of Starland.  
9) "Tall Paul" He's head of promotion and fund-raising for the roof repairs project as well as general promotion.
