Within this gallery you'll discover how Starland has "evolved" since 1997, from the humble beginnings, the people that have come by, and the activities that are possible to the the present.

Check back every month or even every day as the pictures and history archive gaps fill-in.

There's still a long way to go, of course, but with everybody's help, there's nothing that can't be accomplished.

Over the past few years Starland has had a myriad of incredible whimsical and even magical historical events.
People have visited just for the fun of hanging out in the desert, sharing meals, hiking, sight seeing, etc.
Others have also enjoyed making Starland comfortable for themselves and others by contributing their labor, talent, and even money.
All throughout Starland's history, pictures have been taken to hold still these moments. Many of these pictures are still in the archives, but soon will fill these pages to surprise and delight you. So much has happened at Starland, much more than meets the eye here.

Our Main Hall came first, in 1999, followed by the cabins and the shower building. In between this building activity, we ordered new electrical service, and dug the Quail Cove, our campfire amphitheatre, from a natural "bowl" in the property.

While most of the buildings were built by professional contractors, the interiors of cabins, the shower building, and Main Hall were installed by volunteers, who provided their time and talent on free weekends.
